Having called Austin "Home" for nearly 20 years, Anthony is deeply committed to helping local families build
the same foundation of security and opportunity that he envisions for his own. Anthony is first and foremost
a family man. A devoted husband to his wife, colleague, and Financial Advisor, Elizabeth Torres. Anthony and
Elizabeth take immense pride in their large, blended family of five daughters.
Professionally, Anthony brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and disciplined leadership to
the financial services industry. He spent the majority of his career as an infectious disease scientist and
operations manager within both public and private laboratory sectors. His professional foundation is built
in the molecular and microbiology fields, where precision, data-driven decision-making, and high-stakes
problem-solving are paramount. Anthony’s academic background is equally robust; he is an alumnus of Baylor
University, with postgraduate studies in Biology and Microbiology, complemented by studies in Business
Foundations at the University of Texas.
Anthony’s commitment to "going the distance" extends far beyond the office. An avid outdoorsman and lifelong
athlete, Anthony finds his balance on the wilderness, whether he is fishing, camping, or racing kayaks. His endurance
is best defined by his completion of the Texas Water Safari, a 244-mile canoe race from San Marcos to the Texas
Gulf. These experiences, along with 25 years on the rugby pitch, have instilled in him the resilience, grit,
and teamwork he now brings to every client partnership at Centennial Advisors.
