Sam is an encourager, connector, and goal-setter with a passion for helping others. Raised in a small South
Texas town, his positive outlook and servant heart have guided a life of leadership—in churches,
communities, and abroad. Sam holds a BA in Biblical Text and Counseling and a Master of Divinity from
Abilene Christian University, where he later served as Chair of the Graduate School of Theology Board. He
holds a Texas Health and Life Insurance License as well as a FINRA Series 65.
He spent 11 years as a missionary in Central Mexico and led OHC Alamo Ranch as lead pastor. Sam enjoys
fishing, tennis, working on cars, and getting his hands messy. He is married to the love of his life, Ann
Vincent Gonzalez, and together they have four wonderful daughters: Victoria, Sofia, Olivia, and Isabella.
Although, experiences and life transitions always change; Sam's heart for people remains the same, believing
that both spiritual and financial wholeness are essential to a thriving life and family.
